From our experience I would certainly recommend Independent Plus Services to anyone. Amy looks after my husband who is in a wheelchair and finds it difficult to talk. Amy is always. calm, friendly and polite. She encourages my husband to do what he can to help his self esteem and sense of achievement. Amy explains what she is going to do and why which gives reassurance and confidence to the person and the family. She looks after me as well, and I can tell her of any worries. I feel we work as a team. We talk about any difficulties that might arise and how to deal with them. Communication is good on all levels. Her experience as a trained nurse is invaluable and very reassuring and if needed will communicate with the medical team. Amy has become an honoree member of our family and we wouldn’t be without her.
